Ashland County Residents: Attend County Board Meeting Jan. 30 re Enbridge Line 5

“Dear Members and Friends,
You are invited to attend the Ashland County Board Meeting on Thursday, January 30 at 9 am in the Courthouse.
I will be reading the attached Resolution opposing Enbridge Line 5 our Board passed and we shared with you at the end of last year.
Other board members will be speaking to concerns related to its proposed rerouting.
We are particularly concerned that the Ashland County Board carefully consider all the environmental and legal implications of any decision it might make related to Enbridge Line 5.
If you are an Ashland County resident in particular, and have an opinion you would like to share, you can sign up to do so during the time set aside at the beginning of the meeting. You would have 3 minutes to speak.
A significant community presence at the meeting will demonstrate the apprehension so many of us have regarding the consequences of having the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline go through our watershed.
