Staff with the City of Ashland Public Works Department and Water Utility are upgrading and repairing aging wastewater and stormwater infrastructure that’s been contributing to stormwater overflows into Lake Superior. Two staff members will describe what the city is doing this summer and over the next few years to fix leaking pipes, replace lead pipes, and make city water systems safer and cleaner.
