Please join us for the LWVWI’s 2021 Issues Briefing on Saturday, October 30th! We’ll be gathering in-person for the day-long, educational event at the Hilton Garden Inn Madison/Sun Prairie, located off Hwy 151, between Madison and Sun Prairie (east of I90).
We’re excited to announce that LWVWI’s 2021 Virtual Issues Briefing will highlight policies and resources that empower the Wisconsin vote! Please join us online on Saturday morning, October 30th, 9AM-noon to engage with keynote speakers and participate in a choice of breakout rooms. Among confirmed presentations are Megan Brown of LWVUS, who is eager to answer your questions about the VOTE411 platform, LWVWI Voter Education Manager Eileen Newcomer on voter services materials available to local Leagues, and Kelly Beadle of CIRCLE at Tufts University, reporting on the rise in youth political activism and need for K-12 civic education and Jon Sherman, Litigation Director and Senior Counsel at the Fair Elections Center, to discuss legal strategies to combat voter suppression tactics.
