2019-2020 – Launching LWV/ ABC into a YEAR of ACTION

Please join us on Monday, September 30 at 5:30 pm at the Northern Great Lakes Visitors Center for a rousing start to our League YEAR of ACTION.

A social with refreshments will be followed by a panel and the opportunity to brainstorm strategies in interest groups.

As adopted at our May Annual Meeting we plan to focus most of our energy this year on building local support for policy solutions, especially at the local and state level.

We have invited Dorothy Skye from LWV of the Northwoods (Lincoln, Langlade, Oneida Counties) and Marilyn Chesnik from the LWV of Upper St Croix Valley (Washburn, Pierce and Burnett Counties) to share their League’s plans and strategies for the year.
