The "Lively Issues" Meeting is LWV speak for an annual opportunity for Leagues to identify/debate their recommendations for what should be the study or action issues for the League at all levels. This open-ended discussion will be led by Linda Jorgenson, who serves on the state League board. She will forward the local recommendations to the appropriate levels - Local Board, State League, and LWV-US.

The "Lively Issues" meeting is typically scheduled in late January, to be able to report to the local Board at the February meeting, and then to LWV-WI and LWV-US by March 1. After local Board deliberation in both February and March, this also becomes the basis for the LWV/ABC Board's recommendation to our Annual Meeting in May.
